Polar Bear Dipped Oreos

These adorable polar bears are assembled using just a few ingredients, don't require baking, and are a great addition to any winter cookie platter.
Servings: 12 cookies

Ingredients

  • 12 oreo cookies
  • 12 mini vanilla wafers (snout)
  • 12 brown candy coated chocolate candies (nose)
  • 24 mini marshmallows (ears)
  • 12 oz package white baking morsels
  • black edible marker (eyes)

Method

  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt white baking morsels per package directions.
  3. Use melted morsels as glue to stick one mini vanilla wafer to each oreo to form the snout. Let dry for a few minutes.
  4. Dip entire oreo and wafer assembly into the melted morsels. Place on cookie sheet. Move quickly to the next step.
  5. Quickly stick a brown candy on for the nose and two smooshed marshmallows for the ears. Let them dry again for a few minutes.
  6. Dip each ear into the melted baking morsels. You might need to warm the melted morsels back up a bit if they are getting hard to work with. Let them dry again.
  7. Use the black edible marker to add the eyes. Don't aim for perfection, each one will surely have their own polar bear expression and personality! Enjoy!
