London Broil Tailgate Minis with Horseradish Aioli

June 22, 2025

Add a hearty option to your tailgate spread this weekend that is simple to prepare, transport, and eat. This horseradish aioli is a nod to the traditional horseradish and roast beef pairing but has a much less overwhelming flavor than a standard horseradish sauce.

London Broil Tailgate Minis with Horseradish Aioli

Add a hearty option to your tailgate spread this weekend that is easy to prepare, transport, and eat. This horseradish aioli is a nod to the traditional horseradish and roast beef pairing but has a much less overwhelming flavor than a standard horseradish sauce.
Servings: 24 mini sandwiches
Course: Appetizer, Snack

Ingredients

  • 1 lb london broil style deli roast beef sliced thin
  • ¼ lb garlic cheddar cheese deli slices
  • 24 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 24 sandwich picks
Horseradish Aioli
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp horseradish sauce
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Method

  1. Combine ingredients for horseradish aioli.
  2. Split sweet rolls with a serrated knife. Cut the cheese slices in quarters.
  3. Spread aioli on the inside tops of the rolls. On each roll bottom, layer one slice of roast beef and one quarter cheese slice before replacing the tops.
  4. Add a festive sandwich pick to match your team colors and stabilize the sandwiches. Enjoy!
