Easy Love Bug Macarons

Pick up pink macarons from your favorite bakery and decorate them to surprise your favorite Valentine with these easy love bug macarons!

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 12 pink macarons
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 24 candy eye balls
  • heart sprinkles
  • white decorator icing in a tube

Method
 

  1. Lay out macarons on parchment lined cookie sheet.
  2. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave at thirty second intervals on 50% power stirring at each interval.
  3. Dip each macaron into chocolate about a third of the way in. Use a toothpick dipped in chocolate to add the center line to suggest wings.
  4. Add eyes to each bug while chocolate is wet.
  5. Use white decorator icing to add the heart sprinkles to the wings. Enjoy!
