Krispie Peeps Nests

Create Rice Krispie treat nests so your Peeps have a spot to sit on their eggs! These are a quick, fun, and colorful Easter treat!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 5.5 cups mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 12 Peeps chicks
  • 1 cup egg shaped candy
  • (additional butter to create non stick surfaces)

Method
 

  1. Coat small bowls or muffin tin with butter to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Rice Krispie treat mixture per cereal package directions.
  3. Instead of pressing into a pan, press into 12 small bowls or a muffin tin creating the nest shapes with an indent in the middle of each.
  4. Remove from mold once they start to set up. Place on parchment paper and form final nest shapes.
  5. Once cool, place egg candies in each nest. Top each nest with one Peep. Enjoy!
