Saturday Morning Snail Cinnamon Rolls

Make these adorable snail cinnamon rolls for a surprise weekend breakfast or a fun addition to any brunch buffet!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tube large ready to bake cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting
  • ½ drop gel food coloring
  • 1 tbsp mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp sprinkles
  • bamboo skewers

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven per package directions. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place cinnamon rolls on cookie sheet. Cut a portion from the outside of the roll to form the snail body shape and gently shape. Bake cinnamon rolls per package directions.
  3. Apply the white frosting to the body portion of each snail. Dye the remaining frosting with the gel food coloring before applying frosting to the shell portion of each snail.
  4. Add mini chocolate chip eyes, sprinkle spots to the shells, and bamboo skewer antenae. Enjoy!

Notes

Bamboo skewers can be found in the cocktail garnishes area at the supermarket.
